What is the reason why some network surveillance images are not displayed?
When doing network monitoring projects, often encounter a common problem, that is, there are always several images do not show, I believe many friends will encounter.What's the reason?How to solve it?
1. Cable problems:
After the network monitoring is installed, the plug debugging results show that the images of several cameras are not displayed.
In general, in this case, many friends first locate the problem at the bit rate to reduce the bit rate to solve the problem, but there is still the problem of reducing the bit rate.
Maybe there's something wrong with the cable?Look at the network cable is within 100 meters, with more than 5 lines, with the line meter measurement, the line is through, there is no problem, is it a power problem?Some time was spent testing the power supply, but still no problems were found.
In the end, we found that there were no images displayed on these routes.The monitor is about 80-90 meters away from the main engine.In theory, there is no problem, but it is a problem that the problem is so concentrated on 80-90 meters monitoring.So we took off the cable and measured the resistance.As a result, we found a resistance of more than 30 ohms.
Is there any problem with the network cable? The network cable should be copper coated aluminum network cable, not oxygen-free copper, which was not purchased from the normal channel. The resistance of the normal oxygen-free copper network cable is below 100m.
2. Power supply problem:
After taking over the weak current maintenance project, suddenly there are dozens of images do not show, such a large area of the image does not show, we usually think of the first is the power problem.
Then check the power supply, found that the more than ten monitoring is one power supply, so it should be a power supply problem, so from the weak current box to the power supply one test, finally found that there is a leakage circuit breaker.
According to the leakage circuit breaker does not trip, through the test of the tester, the leakage circuit breaker is indeed broken, there is a problem, so the new one is replaced, and more than a dozen monitoring images are not displayed.
Therefore, leakage circuit breakers need to be checked regularly during monitoring and maintenance.
3. The RJ45 crystal head is not well done:
After the completion of the monitoring project, I found that the cameras along the road had no images, and the others were all intact. What happened?
This is a very easy detail to overlook.We will check the possible problems one by one, including checking the power supply, replacing the camera, and measuring the network cable.
The trouble is in the details.When many friends are doing the construction of the crystal head, when they use the network cable pliers to peel the twisted pair wire, the force is too big, resulting in a network cable almost broken, or the crystal head is not wired in accordance with the standard order, the test can pass, but in the gigabit network will seriously lose packets.The problem can be solved by making the crystal head in the standard way.
1. The identification of network cable is "CAT5", the bandwidth is 100M, suitable for less than 100 megabytes of network; the identity of Cat5e network jumper is "CAT5E", the bandwidth of 155M, generally used for setting up gigabit network, also applied in the local area network, is the current mainstream product.
2. The maximum rate of signal transmitted by Cat5 network cable is 100MHz; Cat5e cable can transmit signals at the highest rate of 100MHz, and its performance is better than that of Cat5 cable, and some indexes are also improved.
3. Cat5 network cable adopts two pairs of copper core cable to transmit data, supporting half duplex;Cat5e network cable adopts four pairs of cable copper core cable to transmit data, which can support duplex applications.
4. The effective transmission distance of Cat5 network cables is no more than 100m, which is more suitable for short-distance communication applications; the communication distance of Cat5e network cables can reach up to 300m, which is mainly used for outdoor short-distance links deployed by communication network companies. At present, most of the network cables used to connect routers and cell gateways are Cat5e network cables.
5. The protective layer outside Cat5e network cable is better than the protective layer of Cat5 network cable, and the service life is much longer than the five class network jumper.
6. Cat5 network cable is the basis of Cat5e unshielded twisted pair. The performance of Cat5e unshielded twisted pair, such as end crosstalk, attenuation crosstalk ratio and return loss, has been greatly improved, but its transmission bandwidth is still 100MHz.
7. Cat5e network cable has low attenuation, less crosstalk, higher attenuation to crosstalk ratio (ACR) and Structural Return Loss, smaller delay error, and greatly improved performance.
